Have you ever struggled to find a music teacher who is confident teaching a blind or partially sighted person? This shouldn’t be the case, but we hear it all too often. We are excited to share that we have supported MusicTeacher.com to allow users to filter teachers by access requirements that they can support. There are teachers for many instruments and music technology apps, and you can search for both online lessons and in-person lessons in your area.
This is the first version of this functionality, so MusicTeacher.com will be keen to hear feedback from the community in their forums. More teachers are listing their supported access requirements every day, and all new teachers who register will be required to do so.
