Survey deadline: Monday 12 October 2026
Have your say on the future of diversity and inclusion across the UK music industry by taking part in UK Music’s 2026 Workforce Diversity Survey.
UK Music is inviting people working across the music industry to share their experiences of diversity, inclusion and representation. The biennial survey looks beyond artists to include the people working behind the scenes, helping build a fuller picture of the UK music workforce.
The survey is open to freelancers, employees, business owners, educators and academics working across the sector. It explores the make-up of the workforce and aims to identify where barriers remain, as well as highlighting areas where positive change is taking place. The findings are intended to help the music industry, government and other stakeholders understand where further action may be needed.
The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete, making it a relatively quick way to contribute to research that can inform future approaches to equality, diversity and inclusion across the industry. Findings from the 2026 survey are expected to be published in early 2027.
