Last few days to respond to UK Music’s Workforce Diversity Survey 2024

In January, UK Music’s Diversity Taskforce has launched its Workforce Diversity Survey. The survey collates data from across the music business including studios, management agencies, music publishers, major and independent record labels, music licensing companies and the live music sector.

The findings of the survey give the music industry, government and other stakeholders a critical insight into where improvements are needed regarding diversity and inclusion – and highlights where positive change is already under way. While other surveys focus on diversity of artists, this survey focuses on those who work behind the scenes. It is important that we ensure that the views and experiences of blind and partially sighted professionals are represented in this data.

The survey results will be published later this year, which will help to showcase the steps the industry has taken to improve diversity, as well as where work still needs to be done. You can read UK Music’s 2022 report here.

The deadline is this Friday 8th March. The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.

As a thank you for completing the survey UK Music are offering a prize incentive. Respondents will have a chance to win one of five £100 vouchers to spend at Prezzee!, the leading e-gift site with 100s of top brands to choose from.
