Thanks to our renewed partnership with Blue Raincoat, we are excited to announce the second year of the mentoring scheme in collaboration with Reservoir Media.We have invited Charlie and Tiff from Reservoir Media to demystify what an A&R does.
Reservoir Media work with songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Rachel Chinouriri, Lebo M (Lion King), Steph Jones (Sabrina Carpenter), and Arlo Parks.
By the end of the session:
- You will know what a day in the life of Creative Team at Reservoir Media.
- The role of A&R scouting and advising artists and songwriters
- How Next Stage Members can apply to be part of the A&R Advice Clinic
About Charlie Pinder, Head of Creative
Charlie Pinder has been in the business for over 30 years, mostly in A&R, across records, management and music publishing. He’s worked with a number of high profile, hugely successful artists across multiple genres winning Brit and Ivor Novello Awards including Oasis, Travis, KT Tunstall, Razorlight, Cat Stevens and Everything But The Girl.
Charlie is currently Head of Creative at Reservoir Music in the UK and represents artists including Rachel Chinouriri, Lucy Rose and Tors and writers Jamie Hartman (Celeste, Rag n Bone Man, Calvin Harris), Olivia Sebastianelli (Ella Henderson, Sophie & The Giants), David Sneddon (Lewis Capaldi).
About Tiff Czech, Creative Assitant
Tiff Czech moved to London from Ohio to earn her post-grad degree in Music Business Management at University of Westminster in 2021. While studying, she began working part-time in writer/producer management assisting in setting up sessions for writers such as David Sneddon (Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Lana Del Rey) and Anu Pillai (Lewis Capaldi).
Her current role as Creative Assistant in Reservoir’s UK office sees her lending creative and administrative support across most of the UK roster that includes artists such as Rachel Chinouriri, Tors, and Shura, as well as writers/producers like Jamie Hartman (Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Calvin Harris, Celeste), Jonah Summerfield (Holly Humberstone, flowerovlove, Chloe Qisha), and Olivia Sebastianelli (Ella Henderson, Cassyette, Clementine Douglas).
