On Monday 3 November 2025, Drake Music presents DMLab London: Accessible Practices at Rich Mix — and online — for an evening that explores how creativity and accessibility intersect.
Doors open at 6:30 pm, with talks beginning at 7 pm.
The event features three guest speakers: Alice Gilmour, a sound engineer and inclusive arts advocate; Stuart Grimshaw, a composer and technologist developing gesture-based music apps; and Lia Mice, an experimental performer and instrument designer. Attendees will discover new approaches to inclusive music-making, experience innovative accessible instruments, and enjoy a live performance.
Accessibility is at the heart of the event, with BSL interpretation, live captions, wheelchair access, and a hearing loop all provided. Free tickets are available but limited — offering a unique opportunity for musicians, technologists, and creatives to come together and rethink how music can be made and experienced by everyone.
